Harvey Neiman, M.D., FACR, Chief Executive Officer
Harvey Neiman, M.D., is both the executive director of the American College of Radiology® (ACR®) and CEO of ACR Image Metrix. Dr. Neiman currently serves on the ACR Image Metrix board of directors and is president and CEO of the American Roentgen Ray Society. Dr. Neiman is also a fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound and the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology.
Certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Neiman received a certificate of added qualification in vascular and interventional radiology. Author of the book Angiography of Vascular Disease, he has published over 118 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and 26 book chapters; furthermore, he has also given more than 277 invited lectures and scientific presentations. He is a past president of the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound and the Radiology Advocacy Alliance and serves on the editorial board for ACR publications.
Dr. Neiman is a former chief medical officer and chair of the radiology department at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also served as chief of cardiovascular radiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and chief of cardiac radiology at University Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Bruce J. Hillman, M.D., FACR, Chief Scientific Officer
As the chief scientific officer for ACR Image Metrix, Dr. Bruce Hillman has authored or co-authored more than 170 studies appearing in every major medical publication and has been selected Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare and Who’s Who in the World. Previously, Dr. Hillman was the chair and principal investigator of the American College of Radiology Imaging Network® (ACRIN®).
The Theodore E. Keats Professor of Radiology and professor of health evaluation sciences at the University of Virginia, Dr. Hillman has received 22 grants as principal investigator or co-investigator, including the National Cancer Institute (NCI) UO-1 award, which led to the founding of ACRIN in 1999. Dr. Hillman has received nearly $200 million in grant funding.
He helped develop the Picker-AUR Young Faculty Academic Development Program and the General Electric-AUR Radiology Research Academic Fund.
Dr. Hillman is a member of the ACR Board of Chancellors and a fellow of the ACR. He is also an honorary member of the Society of Computer Applications in Radiology and received the AUR gold metal.

Brenda K. Young, CRA, Senior Director of Clinical Operations
Senior director of clinical operations Brenda K. Young is responsible for all activities related to the clinical trials management system, including managing consultants, supervising project and safety managers and ensuring performance of clinical operation SOPs for major pharmaceutical clients, as well as small to midsize pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and CROs. For the last 19 of her 26 years of clinical experience, Young has devoted her time to clinical research in radiology and radiation oncology. Initially a research coordinator for the department of radiation oncology at the University of California, San Francisco, Young leveraged her experience in data management to join ACR and become ACR’s first regulatory coordinator, the first site auditor and lead the functional development of ACR’s Clinical Trials Management System. She also served as a key operational figure in the creation of the ACRIN and its electronic data collection methodology.
She holds a bachelor of arts degree with honors in history and is a Certified Research Associate.

Laurie Heilmann, B.S., Director, Business Development
Serving as the director of business development, Laurie Heilmann’s possesses extensive experience in consistently increasing sales results, profits, market share and new market development with a focus on products and services applicable to the CRO and medical device industry. Her responsibilities span strategic business planning, contract management and tactical execution of strategies in leading the business development team.
Prior to joining ACR Image Metrix, Heilmann held the position of Senior Vice President of Ockham Development Group, where she created a strong presence, branded and landed contracts in key medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical companies . When she worked as the director of business development at Spacelabs Medical, Inc., she restarted the sales effort and increased the company’s revenue 100% in the first year and 30% each year thereafter. Through her additional experiences, Heilmann has led teams to meet FDA and sponsor requirements and negotiated alliance partner agreements within the US, as well as India and Asia.
A business administration graduate of Kennedy Western University, Heilmann has been honored multiple times both with as part of the President’s Club and as the National Account Manager of the year for Spacelabs Medical. She is an active member of DIA, as well as numerous biotechnology societies, including Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association (WBBA), Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), Bay Bio, Beach Bio and Mid-Atlantic Bio.
