Imaging Acquisition
Unlock the possibilities of electronic data.
A Web-based system allowing decentralized readers, TRIAD OA™ allows unprecedented ease in image collection, anonymization, transfer, re-identification, viewing and archiving. TRIAD provides enhanced annotation and markup utilities, as well as flexible search and download capabilities. With images collected, archived and made available on the Internet, team members around the world can work together with extraordinary ease and speed. TRIAD is designed to fully interface with major federal informatics efforts and initiatives, such as the Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (CaBIG). We provide Web-based training sessions to train sites on the use of TRIAD and require sites to submit test scans as part of the site qualification. In addition, we participate in the investigator meeting and review the imaging plans with the sites.
With ACR Image Metrix™ as your partner, you can be certain you are receiving the highest quality of image verification, identification and acquisition available. We provide quality control at all levels, as well as a full array of services, from protocol design to study close-out. Based on our extensive regulatory experience, we insist on rigorous quality control, completely standardized operating procedures and strict adherence to good clinical practice (GCP) standards.
Sites submit images to ACR Image Metrix using either the TRIAD application, secure FTP site or media. The images are opened and checked against what the site sent as information on an Image Transmittal Form. If image sets are incomplete, the site is sent a query. When it is determined the image sets are complete, quality control review takes place. Depending upon the imaging modality (CT, MRI, etc.) the images are checked against the imaging acquisition parameters for the clinical trial. A quality control form is completed and entered into the database for that case. This process is consistent across all projects. Timelines are dependent upon the imaging time points, but routinely, images are required to be submitted within seven (7) days of acquisition.
